Disabled American Veterans Chapter 5
Welcome to Disabled American Veterans – Where ALL Veterans who served honorably are welcome regardless of ability! we want to dispel any misconceptions that may keep veterans from joining our team. We understand that the term "Disabled" can be misleading, causing some veterans to hesitate in becoming a part of our family. Join us in camaraderie and connection. Attend our open General Membership meetings, embracing both members and veterans interested in our community. Together, we honor the past, support the present, and forge a brighter future.

At DAV Chapter 5, we recognize the importance of serving our community and our members with the utmost dedication. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone's voice is heard and respected. Our goal is to provide a platform for veterans and their families to come together, share experiences, and support one another.

To ensure effective communication and engagement, we hold General Membership meetings on the third Sunday of every month. These meetings take place at the serene Japanese Garden at the West LA VA, where we can connect in person and foster meaningful connections. Additionally, our Executive Membership Meetings are held virtually on the first Sunday of each month, allowing for convenient participation from the comfort of your own home.
